Well, I have never participated in the festival of the neggs before and I was SO excited... to find out day 1.5 took all of 30 seconds to complete. lol.

Am I wrong in thinking that we are also supposed to get the negg we chose to keep along with the prizes we receive for choosing the negg? Because if so I did not get one in my inventory.

The Portable Photo Printer showing a picture of Kass with a heart drawn on it... are they making fun of us or is Kass still being teased for the plot?

@orchidt You don't get the negg you pick, just the prize that was inside it. Usually at the end of the event you get one of each type of negg though.

@orchidt, I have a bunch of neggs from past events that you could only properly use if you bought items from the NC mall to open them with. The neggs were otherwise useless junk. Maybe you're thinking of those? (Like the Crystal neggs, mini plastic neggs, mechanical neggs, etc.) I don't quite remember how those events worked exactly.

OMG, I'm in loooooove with all the Goth stuff! And the Hatchling prizes are nice, too! And since I finally decided to do Premium after decades of playing, I'm enjoying that side of things, too.

Premium Thoughts: Phew, the Premium bonuses (and the normal prizes) aren't as bad as I thought they were going to be.

When I first saw that the Premium Bonus Final Prize was yet another new album item (this time looks to be for the second Coin album), I was worried what this meant for the normal prizes. Luckily one of them still gives out a stamp and a few of the other normal prizes are decent (sadly weapon seems weak, especially one named after the Masamune (and why Hanso? Is this implying it's not the Masasune and Hanso is making that up?); guess they realized they were making them a bit too powerful these past few years). That said they could have spread them out a bit better, like Papercraft has both the Stamp AND Book and Hatchling as two Petpets (question, can these Petpets be obtained by painting them as they're normal Colours?).

Daily Premium Bonus prizes aren't a bad selection, the Album item are already existing expensive ones so a nice prize to receive while also having more of them enter the market. A bit cheeky to have two of the Goth Marching clothes are Premium bonuses; "you can have the hat for free but if you want the other two gotta get Premium to ~CARRY ON! WE'LL CARRY ON!~". Just the final one being a new Album item bothers me. TNT, please, if you're going to do that, how about creating a few "Premium Albums" that way is leaves the normal Albums alone and you'll have something really exclusive the Premium players can show off (and you can constantly reuse them as Premium bonus items without worrying how non-Premium players will be able to get them).

Well, the premium bonuses are pretty extensive, but thanks to the good ol Neopets economy, everything from this event has crashed in value and the first day hasn't even ended.

@blackcatbrandyce: No. You will be able to find a new Negg every day of the event. However, most (but not all, so be aware of that) events on Neopets start with a 1.5 day on day one. This is because TNT usually launches new events somewhere around noon, rather than midnight of a new day. Not everyone has the ability to catch on to such an event start though, due to timezones, work, etc. That is why the first day is spread out like that.
Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to hunt a Negg every day for the duration of the event

What's the bet that the avatar won't be awarded for getting all neggs on the day, rather just a participation avatar for getting one? Aaaand also that it'll be a *drumroll* boring square shape!

RE: Release Notes- Has anyone had luck with the drackonack avatar? According to the release notes it's fixed but I haven't seen anyone get it yet

@Dave I guess I called it then. And I guess I'm done with the FoN on the first day if I've already got the avatar. TNT don't seem too hot on rewarding time and effort with anything unique or sacred against being rereleased in 10 months.

Enjoying this, except I'm dreading seeing the inevitable Orion appearance. I just really can't stand that character.

Maybe we will get an event where we collect hair care products, sleep aids, and "happy nappy Negg Shrooms" for the Grey-t Orion Upgrade Project!

I remember in previous festivals that Topsi or Kari would give a prize if you clicked on them when they popped up. Is anything happening this time? When you click on either of them, a little negg basket with a 0 next to it pops up.

I like that the goth set can be worn with the varwolf!
