Oh that's not... My favorite. Even without the sickly spots, the base color isn't great

I was going to paint just to get the spots for my Krawk, but they don't look very good at all. The base color should have a different color eye.

This is one of the worst species days in a long time, dang... what is with those spots? I do like the base color personally but the spots just make no sense and don't even match. And the wearables are underwhelming... pretty disappointing.

There was so many good suggestions in the boards, I don't get why they make those boards if they just won't take any actual suggestion. Who asked for this?
Even without the spots this base color is an eyesore, like a subpar version of an ice krawk.
This is actually terrible, I hope their art department starts taking a real hard look at the designs they put out before posting them.

Someone suggested that they may have been trying for a Tokay gecko and I can kind of see it based on the color schemes. It wasn’t done well

It kind of looks like a heat map, but not well executed. I'm... not a fan. Whatever it is, sometimes simple without being based on anything specific is better.

I'm pretty sure there's another similar themed forest warrior-esque outfit out there by the same artist for another pet day too. I feel like it was moehog? I wanna go look for it now, lol.

Well, there goes my tokay gecko-inspired Polka Dot Techo idea I've had and previously suggested.

Seriously, the execution is kinda trash. The colors don't mesh well and it's *too* pastel to convincingly look like a tokay gecko, they're more of a gray-blue than a pastel blue. Only saving grace is that I like the outfit but the color is poorly executed.

The contrast is a little low on the base colour, and the spots look like mould, imo. Maybe it would work well with wearables though.

My eyes hurt from looking at that color. Did they confuse pastel with neon?
I didn't know tokay geckos, they are lovely, but definitely are not this bright...

If they adjust the base colour, and make some of the spots white, then this can be fixed.

Man, fumbled again. Maybe they should run these by the public first from now on or they're just going to have to keep issuing bandaid items in the future because they're too afraid of making large changes to colours they've released.

It might be a stretch but the colours do remind me of a Tokay gecko, just more neon.

Another Krawk day, another year that I wonder why it is that every year Shoyru day (which I only single out because it's the pet day that immediately precedes Krawk day) consistently gets several full sets of interesting Cog's Togs wearables, and Krawks get a single ugly half-set.

I wanted a pastel krawk, but not like this. Why do some pastel pets get lovely pinks and mint greens and blues and we get a single monochrome eyesore with mouldy spots and clashing eyes?

... also, the krawken isn't even a krawk, so while it's cool to have a new gourmet food, even the item isn't actually krawk related.

I really, really wish I understood why they seem to give krawks the short end of the stick so hard every year.

My first thought was, "THAT'S Pastel??? Looks like Neon!!!" Glad to see others thought the same lol!

The outfit looks good, maybe not for a Woodland Krawk, but I could see it on a Camouflage Krawk or something like that.

I'm one of the few Krawk fans in the world, and I hate this color.

Even the spots are terrible as a customization item. They look like a scabby disease.

At least we have that outfit - very cool, very well drawn.

Oh no, the Scourgies are back and they've mutated to only target Krawks!!
I just don't understand. Those spots don't look even remotely Pastel. I'm okay with the base colour (though it looks a little icy perhaps), but those spots.. Yuck.

Woodland warrior is fine I suppose. Could do with a bigger axe, but many left- and right-hand items (since TNT doesn't properly know the difference) are too tiny anyway.

Btw... unrelated but I just got the new Oversized Cybunny Gaming Hoodie and there's a cross... and not exactly the typical gaming one. The lower arm of the cross is longer and its shaped in a way it doesn't match the rest of the suit. On all pets it looks like this

Sheesh thats an ugly color. You know if they want to make the pets have sickly colors they should just make a dedicated paint brush since we have Zombie and Transparent, lets add a brush that adds chicken pox, shingles, measles, pimples, gangren and what ever other sickly crap you can think of.

Are they outsourcing pet colors like they do for the plot comics? Because while some of the recent additions haven't been great from a design perspective, they also just don't make sense when compared to existing pet designs for the same paint brush. Like they veer way off track and typically not in a good way.

i wonder if they literally just control-f searched for "krawk" in a list of unreleased items and that's why the food is krawken and not actually krawk-related. lol. the color is, as everyone has already said, very ugly. it'd be a lot nicer if they just desaturated the lines, honestly. at least the spots are removable and the outfit looks fine.

i think the soft beigey eye color is kinda pretty, it's too bad the body isn't a pastel soft beige!

I say this actually fits the bill here. The outfit is meh to me, but that pastel is...Yeah, I already don't care for the color much in general, but this is pretty much Polka Dot Kacheek 2.0...

Oh wow, a totally non-pastel Pastel paint job!

There are some rather lovely Pastel painted pets with soft pastel pinks/mint green/blues.

This is NOT one of them.

Pastel is too bright. I also don’t really get the spots. I know there’s a pastel morph of hognose snakes and wonder if that might have been what TNT was going for but this ain’t it (and anyway snakes aren’t crocodiles).

On the other hand the outfit is great, I love the RPG warrior aesthetic.

Pastel isn't good. The contrast between the eye and the body's colour is too strong. None of the other pastel colours have markings, so why this one? Aisha, Kiko and Kacheek have lovely pastel blues. This one is like... a highlighter, not pastel.

Tokay gecko style would have been awesome for Polka Dot Krawk because that gecko has so many re/brownish red spots. This one looks like a highlighter with phlegm

OK, if it’s supposed to be a Tokay gecko I can see what they were going for, but the base color should have been more blue and less bright and the spots probably should be a bit more brown but also more dilute.

We already had a polka dot Krawk and honestly the classic polka dot looks better than this.
