Daunting Darigan, Blooming Woodland, and Prismatic Pet Styles Released

A sizable set of Pet Styles featuring new Darigan poses, new Woodland poses, and Prismatic Darigan poses are now available in the NC Mall's Styling Studio!

This release consists of the 16 Daunting Darigan styles, 10 Blooming Woodland styles, and 107 Prismatics for the Nostalgic and Daunting Darigan styles. In addition, all of the existing Nostalgic Darigan styles are available for purchase in this rotation. (As of writing, the previous rotation of Baby and Royal styles are still available as well, expected to be leaving by end of today.)

Here is a sampling of the new styles:

~~The next rotation date for these have not been announced by TNT yet, so we aren't sure exactly how long they will stay (but based on recent rotations, probably somewhere around May 18th again).~~ UPDATE: On April 21st's update in New Features, TNT has announced that these Styles will be available until Friday, May 16th.

The styles look nice, but I'm not a big fan of TNT's recent habit of releasing styles with no non-NC colour to go with them (like the Darigan Varwolf here or most of the 25th Anniversary colours). Paywalling the pose and art is fine, paywalling the colour itself is not.

I think I would've liked the Woodland Techo better without the tongue sticking out and I'm sad Darigan Buzz didn't get any dyeworks but THESE ARE ALL AMAZING

I never for a moment thought I would want a Darigan style, but that Kiko is just too much! I have to say I like it better in a smaller format than his lookup, but I'm quite pleased with JopiX. More grumpy than fearsome, and those piercing green eyes!

These are all so great! The artists did an excellent job.
I agree with dragonair23 though. I don't like not having the actual color available to paint. I was really hoping they would've release a Darigan Varwolf in tandem.

Technically the color isn’t being paywalled, they can still add it later as a PB color, it’s just the pet style version that’s paywalled.

Though it is inconvenient since you can’t preview a large version of them on JN or DtI due to the converted color not existing.

one thing i do wish is that we eventually get nc-wearable "markings" in the mall that can give us the same effects as these darigan "recolors".
i would love these blue, black, and red darigan alternatives to converted darigans and i'm sure i'm not the only one...
...and i mean ...it's more opportunities for money for them? they're always looking to squeeze another penny out of ppl so why not? :c

@inkpot I thought exactly the same and actually even mailed the NC ambassador about this. She told me she would pass this suggestion to TNT and also told me to send this suggestion in the editorial, which I did. I truly hope we get that someday! These "new" Darigan colors look too AWESOME to not be explored in the converted pets too

Darigan Zafara Prismatics look so good and I’m absolutely getting each one
But MAN I wish the Zafara was getting new pose art for this color, Darigan is my favorite of them all 8(

I'd rather they include the varwolf token in this rotation than wait for its "official" release (which will likely include standard darigan) and then we all have to wait a year for darigan tokens to cycle in again.

Also, the species itself is paywalled right now, so it seems a bit moot to complain about the color being paywalled.

A little overwhelmed with how many of these I want lol x_x

The Varwolf is literally just an Eyrie with a snout instead of a beak. Right? The cool token action poses the Varwolf is getting are cool but... you could have put that effort into the Eyrie and made the Eyrie more appealing. If they made a new pet called a Flabberbagger and it was just the design of a Chia but with square ears but also was being given the 'rad newly designed action poses' when it came to neocash tokens. I'd be a little annoyed if I was a Chia fan.

I love all of these, so much. But it's depressing we get all the best art on NC Styles, and I absolutely have no desire to customize my pets at all. That's the aspect of the website I always interacted with the least.

Something else to love: The final rewards for the Festival of Neggs! Zaira is one of my favourite underrated characters, so to get an avatar, plush AND charm in her liking is amazing ^^

I don't like the wording paywalled here. As a neopets user there where gifted NC from TNT planty, also oftern users give NC away because they have so many (downsizing) so you could trade for it or get the styles giftes.

For the festival of neggs - how low was the chance to get the stamp from the paper negg or the BG from the time travel negg? None of my Neofriends got one

I haven't really cared enough about getting any of the tokens because I'm far too invested in customizing my pets, but I couldn't resist getting the Varwolf (mostly because it's not particularly customizable at the moment). The art for it is just beautiful.
