I hate to sound consistently cynical over these pet day additions, but they are NOT cooking. Best thing is the Mutant Lutari Plush to go on a positive note.

Sketch is such a nothing addition, it should've just been a random addition or in tandem with another unpopular color to soften the blow.

The outfit again falls into modern design tropes I hate, that being the "pet suit" type outfits that are just one thing and are weirdly hyper realistic and have very little mix/match potential. The only thing I can see getting mileage is the wearable Pebble, but it'll probably just float with notable cutoff masks.

I really appreciate them finally releasing some more beads and adding back that old RE! I just wish they'd fix the broken Flash on the Talisman. It works with Ruffle so it seems like it would be an easy update.

Overall meh pet day but the outfit changing the arms from being the default pose looks fantastic. An item (or toggle) that unclenches fists on pets would do wonders

I love the otter outfit. I love the pebble in it's little hands.

As far as converted Lutaris go, I like Sketch! And any outfit that gets rid of the fists gets points, but I am tired of all these outfits that only work with themselves. Why not just make them one piece, too, instead of several?

The pebble is adorable. The rest of this isn't really my thing, but that pebble makes up for it. My Lutari is definitely going to want one!

Pet day outfits have become a reference fest, either to real life animals or pop culture. Can't we have a non-reference outfit? I guess the answer is no, seeing how popular they are.

While I'm not a fan of their "bring the real world to Neopia" policy, I do have to admit that I like the otter outfit for the Lutari. It's.. dare I say.. otterly adorable.
But as usual, it also has flaws. I'm not a big fan of how the eyes have shifted. Not to mention, these arms will make it impossible for a Lutari to hold normal objects, since their positioning is different. And while the Pebble is a decently cute Petpetpet, an otter floats down the river with a stone on their CHEST that they smash shells onto. Why is this otter not holding a shell instead? And lastly, despite them changing the arms, it doesn't actually look like the Lutari is holding the Pebble...

Sketch is fine though. It's a sketch, that is hard to mess up

Guys, is this happening only to me? Seems like the "trudy's surprise" alert isn't happening anymore from days... I missed my streak because of that (I usually remember because I see the alert). I don't know If it's a bug, but I wouldn't be surprised tnt did tat on purpose so more people get premium for the streak saver feature. 🤦‍♀️

I feel like the only person in the world who likes Sketch, so *I'm* happy they remembered it, at least.

(But then again, I am also probably the only person in the world regularly rooting for Split, just to remind the fans of the ~7 species who don't have it as a color yet yet that they should be living in fear.)

Ah, but we can have non-reference outfits, you just have to wait for the species day of one of the species that TNT doesn't like very much. See krawk day. No I'm not bitter.

There was a really cool fan-made 8-bit Lutari that got a bunch of love on socials a few months ago that I was hoping was going to be made today but Sketch is cool too, I guess.

and the otter outfit is honestly hideous.
after seeing all the wonderful high-quality art with the new darigans this stands out at amateur at best and just... i'm so annoyed as someone who has multiple lutari. a year of waiting and this is the outfit we get... an ugly over-rendered otter suit. sorry not sorry.

Hate to sound ungrateful but as several have mentioned,
Sketch is about the most boring color,
and while I like the pose, there's something off-putting about the whiskers on that suit..

The rock was def the highlight
