First up, Neopets announced on their LinkedIn that they will be attending Brand Licensing Europe in London next week, September 24-26.
Similar to the Las Vegas Licensing Expo that TNT attended in the spring, this is more of an industry conference than a fan con. Hopefully we will get some new glimpses at upcoming merch!
Next, gamescom asia in Singapore has recently released their agenda for the "conference" section of their event. Neopets COO Derren Lam will be part of a broader panel entitled "Level Up Your Brand: The Power of IP Collaboration & Transmedia in Gaming". The panel will take place on the first day, October 17, from 11:20am to 12:00pm. (The entire event continues through the 20th.)
Last year, Neopets also attended as an exhibitor with an impressive booth! However, gamescom asia has not yet released an exhibitor list, nor has TNT commented either way, so we're not sure if they will be doing more than just speaking this year.
While Jellyneo will not be able to attend either Brand Licensing Europe or gamescom asia, we will plan to provide recaps afterward based on official social media.
Finally, as a brief reminder, between these two events Neopets will be stateside at RetroGameCon 2024 in Syracuse, NY, on October 11-13.
