Enchanted Egg Hunt
The "Enchanted Egg Hunt" event began on April 15, 2025. According to the in-game countdown, participation will last through approximately May 12, 2025. The prize shop will remain open through approximately May 20, 2025.

Upon opening the app, a pop-up will inform the player of the event. All players who play Faerie Fragments during the duration of the event participate automatically; nothing special is needed to activate it!
The event can be accessed at any time by clicking the basket icon in the upper left corner of the overworld screen.
Event Participation
The event involves collecting Bronze Coins primarily by clearing levels.
- Regular levels award 25
- Hard levels award 30
- Very Hard levels award 40
- Champion levels award 25
Daily Quests
In addition to coins earned by clearing levels, you can earn even more coins by completing Daily Quests. These can be accessed by clicking the icon in the lower right corner on the event screen.
Five quests are available to you each day, resetting nightly at 2:30am NST. (Depending on your screen width, you may have to scroll down a bit to see the fifth quest.) These offer up to 100 extra each day in addition to any you earn from clearing levels.
Pressing any of the "Go" buttons will take you to play your next available Main Story level.
The quests will have the following requirements:
- 30 for clearing 1 main story level.
- 20 each for three of the below quest types.
- Matching a certain number of a specific basic tile in main story levels: 100, 100, 100, or 100.
- Generating a certain number of a specific special tile in main story levels: 5, 5, 5, or 1.
- Clearing 5 main story levels.
- Using a certain character's ability 5 times.
- Using a pre-level booster 1 time. These refer to the Missile, Bomb, or Nova Rod you can select prior to starting a level. (Boosters from "unlimited for X minutes" rewards do not count.)
- Using a powerup item 1 time. These refer to the Mini Wand, Mega Wand, Magic Gloves, or Rainbow Negg you can activate while playing a level.
- Changing a partner Neopet's appearance in the Closet.
- Buying a new clothing item in the Closet. (This will require you to spend at least 1,000)
- 10 for completing any three other daily quests.
You can only progress these quests from tiles matched or generated directly by you; tiles that are cleared or generated as a result of a combo or during the level-end process do not count. You also can only progress these quests from actions on levels you complete; if you fail a level, you will not earn any progress from actions during that failed attempt.
Rewards
Upon reaching specific thresholds of Bronze Coins, you will automatically unlock in-app rewards. There is one set of "Event Rewards" available for free; an additional set of "Premium Rewards" are available by purchasing a pass for $6.99 (or equivalent local currency) through April 29th, or $9.99 (or equivalent local currency) after April 29th. If you purchase the pass after reaching some thresholds, those Premium Rewards will be granted at the time of purchase.
The Premium Rewards are shown in the top row, while the regular Event Rewards are in the bottom row. The thresholds required are listed in between them.
When you have rewards available, the event icon will show a green "Open" button. To claim the rewards, simply visit the event page after reaching the required threshold. Your prizes will be granted automatically.
Spending in the event shop will not reduce your progress; feel free to spend freely!
Neopets.com Rewards
Additionally, a special Neopets.com item award is available for earning 3,000. You can track your progress towards this by clicking on the image of the plushie on the far right side of the event screen. (Spending in the event shop will not reduce your progress; feel free to spend freely!)
At the time of the event's launch, redemption was not fully functional; while players could appear to successfully claim the reward in the app, it did not appear to actually be delivered on Neopets.com. This was fixed for new redemptions around midday on April 17th; players who had redeemed prior to this began to receive their plushies shortly after.

If you have already collected 20 from this event and/or previous events, you will instead receive 1,000 each instead.
In addition to the above progress rewards, an event shop is available to spend your Bronze Coins on additional prizes. You can spend these as you earn them; you do not need to wait until after the event, nor will spending them prevent you from advancing progress towards threshold prizes.
Event Shop
In addition to the threshold rewards above, you can use your Bronze Coins on extra rewards in the Event Shop! The shop is available from the very beginning of the event and will remain available until May 20th, seven days after the end of the event. This means you can spend as you go, or save them all for the end!
You can access the Shop by clicking the icon in the lower left corner.

There is a total of 13,750 of limited items, comprised of the below:
- 4,100 for Fragments
- 4,500 for event-exclusive wearables
- 1,000 for event-exclusive in-app profile avatar and frame
- 4,150 for coins, tokens, lives, power-ups, and boosters
If you have earned even more than 13,750, you can exchange 40 for 10 an unlimited number of times.
If you have already collected 20 from this event and/or previous events, you will not be able to purchase the Fragments; attempting to do so will present an error message. This just means you are free to spend on other things!
Hatchery
In addition to the Bronze Coins collection activity, there as an additional bonus activity known as the Hatchery for the duration of the event.
Upon successfully completing each level, you will receive up to four colours of "faerie dust" which can be used to incubate eggs. There are four types of eggs, each of which has its own incubation threshold, duration, and prizes.
You may also pay to eliminate the remaining incubation duration and receive your prize immediately. These prices vary by tier, with a cost per hour remaining (rounded up); surprisingly, the lower tiers cost more per hour, perhaps because they are easier to collect faerie dust for and faster to incubate.

Earning Faerie Dust
After each level you successfully clear, you will receive 7 faerie dust for each unused move remaining when you cleared the level! For example, if you had 10 moves left when you finished, you would receive 10 * 7 = 70 total faerie dust of one or more colours.
I finished this level with 9 moves left, so I received 9 * 7 = 63 = 29 + 15 + 13 + 6 faerie dust!
Which colour(s) of faerie dust you receive seems to be completely random, but with a probabilistic pattern: ~45% Basic, ~25% Uncommon, ~20% Rare, and ~10% Exotic.
Purchasing Faerie Dust
If you would like to use faerie dust without clearing levels to collect it, you can exchange 5 per faerie dust needed to reach the threshold; this exchange rate is the same for all four tiers.
To do this, simply click the 
button next to the dust count, then confirm in the pop-up window.
The price to top up will be 5 per faerie dust, regardless of tier.
Speeding Up Incubation
You can also exchange Coins to immediately complete incubation and receive your prize.
To do this, simply click the 
button next to the dust count, then confirm in the pop-up window.
The price to do this depends on the number of hours remaining, rounded up. The price varies by tier: Basic is 100 per hour, Uncommon is 75 per hour, Rare is 50 per hour, and Exotic is 25 per hour. (Yes, the higher tiers are cheaper per hour!)
Hatchery Prizes
When incubation has completed for an egg, you can claim its prizes by pressing the green "Hatch" button beneath the egg.
The possible prizes from each egg are listed below, along with their probabilities. Since each egg gives multiple prizes per incubation, you may receive the same type of prize more than once, and the game will display these as combined. For example, opening a Basic egg may award 100 as your first prize and 500 as your second; this would be displayed as simply 600.
The wearables in the Rare and Exotic eggs have a pity mechanism. If you do not receive one of the Rare egg wearables within 30 incubations, you will be granted one automatically. If you do not receive one of the Exotic egg wearables within 15 incubations, you will be granted one automatically. The game will display a decrementing counter to activation of this mechanism at the top of the interface; wearables you've successfully unlocked will appear with a green checkmark.
I've incubated 7 Rare eggs without getting a wearable, and will be guaranteed one after 23 more.
I've just unlocked the Easter Sunday Skirt, so my counter reset to 15 Exotic eggs before I'm guaranteed the Flower Bangle.
App Icon
During the duration of the event, the app's icon was replaced with a thematic one.
